We took the family to our friends house for Super Bowl 42 last night. We had a blast, a few drinks, some good conversation and can I say WOW? I was utterly amazed!
I really thought the Patriots were going to win. I mean they did have a HUGE four point lead all the way into the 3rd quarter. Can you imagine a Super Bowl score of 7-3?
Then it happened! NY finally got a touchdown, but then the Patriots came back with another. With only 40 seconds left in the game, Eli Manning managed to get a pass thrown, caught by Burress at the line of scrimmage.
The whole house was screaming, I mean, literally screaming. While none of us were true fans of either team; my husband was rooting for the Giants because as he says, "I hate, really hate the Patriots".
Not only a great game, but a fun night; had by all, including my children. Oh, and the meatballs, nacho cheese dip and chips I made definitely helped!

LOL! Hubby was routing for the Giants for the exact same reason. My oldest fell asleep during the game and managed to somehow sleep through all the yelling and jumping brought on by that last touchdown. It was a great game!
