I've done Bloggerwave a while ago, but my site wasn't nearly as big as it needed to be, so when I went to do other opportunities that were listed, I was told that I couldn't and I never got another opportunity again. It was quite odd. But like you said, you do need a higher PageRank to really make paid blogging work. I'm definitely going to give it another try at some point in the future, when my site gets a little more...impressive.
I only did 2 opps for them in the last 8 months. They never have any opps.
